How
can I say thank you enough for all your prayers for me as I ministered
in Idaho. Driving 2800 miles, through five states in a two week period
of time, I rejoice in what God has done. As God opened the doors for
me to minister in various Aglow Lighthouses, a women’s prison
and the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, there was a response to
the gospel as many came forward to receive a touch from God. Men,
women and children responded to the love of Jesus Christ as 11 received
salvation and became born again.
The wind began
to blow fiercely outside the women's prison in Pocatello, as ladies
awaited to be ministered to by the Lord. As the gospel was being shared,
tears streamed down their faces as hearts were being touched. Seeing
God move on the
hearts of these ladies, I wanted to hug them like a Mama would do
to comfort her children, but there was to be no physical contact because
of a prison rule. So as ministry continued I encouraged them by reminding
them that the love of Jesus Christ cannot be detained or restrained
and there are no prison walls or bars that can hold Him back when
they called on the name of the Lord. Many responded and received Jesus
Christ as their Savior while others also came forward for prayer.
Then as ministry was ending there was the sound of an alarm signaling
to everyone that it was time for them to return to their cells. Although
prison rules said no physical contact, many hugged me as we said good-bye.
Since returning home, I have received a letter from one of the ladies
who will not be getting out of prison until 2015. She shared her heart
and has asked for prayer. I rejoice in now having an opportunity in
responding to her directly and keep in contact.
The
Aglow Lighthouses were a blessing. At one meeting there was a lady
who was completely deaf who has been coming to the meetings on a regular
basis. She could not hear the spoken Word but wanted to be in the
presence of the Lord. During praise and worship she signed to the
words to the songs reading them from the transparencies projected
on the wall. She smiled as I prayed for her and someone stood next
to me writing the prayer so she could read it. She could not hear
my words or read lips, but God ministered to her heart.

On Saturday night I gave a message in Spanish to the Hispanic congregation
at the Blackfoot Lighthouse Assembly of God Church. Pastors and their
wives from surrounding cities came to the meeting and I was blessed
and humbled that God had allowed me to be the messenger for His gathering.
Worship was awesome as we sang and praised the Lord in Spanish. Then
on Sunday morning I had the opportunity to minister in the same church
to the English congregation. Again what a privilege and joy it is
to be able to see God touch hearts as His Word ministered to the hearers.

I have been given an open invitation to return to Idaho and I look
forward to the next opportunity to minister. There is a Pastor who
wants to do an evangelistic 3-day outreach and asked if I would be
interested in being the speaker. I also met the Chaplin for all the
prisons in Idaho and he was interested in having me come and speak
at different prisons. Isn't it amazing how God causes paths to cross?
Thanks be to God.
So dear ones, again thank you for being a part of this with me...you
have truly blessed me, the new babies in Christ, and brothers and
sisters in the Lord who were ministered to by your prayers.
I send you my thanks....but most all .....heaven thanks you.
